Caroline Greb is a fine artist based in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Influenced by classical painting traditions and shaped by contemporary life, Caroline’s work invites the viewer into a shared moment of looking through delicate brushwork and a restrained palette. Her paintings are rooted in observation and lived experience, using the ordinary as a means of reverence. These subjects become a way of slowing down—of noticing what is often overlooked—and offering attention as an act of curiosity and care. Her practice is guided by a belief that beauty is not something to be manufactured, but something to be received. Caroline’s work reflects a contemplation of beauty in the everyday—where stillness, love, and quiet devotion coexist with imperfection and loss.
Caroline’s hope is that her art may be a testament to the redemptive beauty found in places of pain, to the mercies of the seemingly mundane, and to present an opportunity to be honest in our wrestling. And sometimes she just loves letting paint be paint.
