Caroline Greb is a fine artist based in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Caroline considers herself a traditional painter but loves to play with looseness, texture, color, and perspective. She paints in oil and watercolor, but can’t help dabbling in collage and illustration.  As a representational artist working primarily from life, her subjects and inspiration come from observation of the ordinary world, fueled by a need to slow down and look at things for what they truly are. Each painting is an act of wondering and truth-seeking marking moments in time of God's grace. Caroline’s current body of work is an exploration of artifacts and what they may say about the human story.

Caroline’s hope is that her art may be a testament to the redemptive beauty found in places of pain, to the mercies of the seemingly mundane, and to present an opportunity to be honest in our wrestling. And sometimes she just loves letting paint be paint.
