Caroline Greb is a fine artist based in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Caroline is deeply passionate about creating works of realistic and rich beauty, especially through observation of the ordinary world. She maintains traditional representation while playing with looseness, texture, and color. As a self-proclaimed old soul, Caroline is in love with the mediums that require her to slow down and observe, always finding there is more to see. By constantly “looking again” Caroline sees nothing—and no one—is ever lost. Therein lies remarkable hope.

Art is not only a way for Caroline to create, but to seek and understand the beauty of a good God. She desires to share the redemptive beauty found in places of pain and the mercies of the seemingly mundane. Caroline’s prayer is that her art may present an opportunity to be honest in our wrestling and yearning after Christ and, in that, find faith.

Caroline and her husband Ethan Greb, a graphic designer and theologian, reside in Charlotte, NC with their two children. In between the hours painting or changing diapers, you will find Caroline editing for Ekstasis Magazine, gardening, gluten free baking, planning a hiking trip, or reading while consuming excessive amounts of coffee. Their door is always open to old or new friends to join them for drinks and good conversation.
